Amazon.com: Synology M.2 2280 NVMe SSD SNV3410 400GB (SNV3410-400G) : Electronics

Bought a nice new DS923 and thought hey, let's shell out twice a products value to get certified Synology NVME drives. So I ordered two of the SNV3510-800G! Jokes on me though, they physically will not fit in the DS923 . The NAS only supports 80mm NVME drives, and these are 110mm. Why Synology? Why make these if they don't fit in one of your top selling NAS's! Now in hindsight I needed to have purchased the 3410-800G drives instead, but my brain saw a higher number and thought newer version, not incompatability. Sadly they're going back to Amazon, and I search out alternatives. (FWIW there's a script out there that allows you to use unsupported drives and save money, do some Googling)
