Easy to install. Comes with everything you need.I used it for a 2TB 990Pro. (No heatsink; otherwise it won't fit.) The case does get quite hot under heavy transfer loads. Heat can affect transfer speeds, but it worked fine for me. I also don't have Thunderbolt ports so there wasn't any point in sprnding more on a faster case.

The assembly/installation of an NVMe drive in this enclosure is awkward because the enclosure does not have a captive nut threaded insert for securing the drive. Instead, it has a free-floating nut that you must align on the back side while simultaneously pressing down on the drive and aligning/screwing in the bolt on the front side. Another issue is that the NVMe drive barely touches the aluminum housing, so heat dissipation is poor and the drive can heat up significantly under extended use and heavy load. The included cable works for laptop connections, but it might be too short for most desktop computers. The overall build quality is good without adding much weight and the internal adapter works very well for high speed transfers.

This is a great product. I've seen other SSD enclosures that cost twice as much and don't even come with the USB cords. This comes with all the screws, thermal pads, and even a screwdriver for you to use. The metal casing makes it feel high quality, but the low price seals the deal.I was able to transfer multiple TB of data between my old PC and my SSD for my new build in less than an hour thanks to this. No issues, instructions are very clear.
