Make sure to use Zbrush 2021.6.4 or later.40+ Tentacles in various ZBrush brushes and OBJs - highly recommend watching the YouTube video linked below:The finest tentacle pack of its kind on the market - quickly create complex tentacled monstrosities, octopi and other beings. Super timesaver and idea generator - quickly spice up 3D sculpting/designing/concepting, or even augment and change existing sculpts. Included you will find: Zbrush Curve brush 1 & 2: 19 Tentacles with constant width and unique endpoints (heads), one oriented from above, the other from the side, so you can conveniently choose the angle you need. Zbrush Curve brush 3 & 4: 35 Tentacles with falloff along the curve becoming smaller towards the tip, the other from the side for easy switching between two orientations (note that some in the first two brushes appear in this brush again, for an alternate falloff version). Zbrush subtool file with all the source meshes Zbrush subtool file with all tentacles drawn out straight, for retopology/baking/rigging in other software OBJs of all source meshes OBJs of all tentacles drawn out straight, for retopology/baking/rigging in other software These are untextured high poly sculpts. Example demo character(s) not included. All have been decimated as much as possible without sacrificing detail. Please note that the main feature of this pack - the curve brush functionality, is Zbrush-only. For other software, I have provided OBJs as some people do ask for them. The OBJ structure structure was thought through giving 3 different sections for models which makes it easy to adjust lenght as we build the tentacle. No UV's are added, which I can actually understand. Models are relatively high poly, around 50-70k/segment - which can add up to around 700k-1M in complete form. The models are straight from ZBrush, no retopology. There will be additional work needed before you can use them (retopo, uv, texturing). Personally I don't mind and think that the package is first class.Argh! While the mesh detail is acceptable, none of the .OBJ files contain any UVs or groups. This seriously hampers any kind of image mapping in 3rd party DCCs other than zBrush. At least provide UVs. I could breakup the mesh if I had islands.No doubt, 5 full stars!!A damn good buy.So good!Super easy to add a tail, and easy to customize and create your own.
