This is a great quality case that's on par with the well-known name brands at 2,3 and 4 times the price.Fit & finish is perfect. Nothing is misaligned, nothing is warped and nothing fits poorly. The gasket is seated well and this case is absolutely water tight.The heavy duty plastic is really solid. I did something a little silly and stood on it when I got it. I'm 6' 4" and 260 lbs. and there was no problem with the case taking my weight and probably a lot more.The hinges open and close really nicely and the handle is fastened at multiple points making it almost impossible to break off.Speaking of the handle, the company makes a big deal about it being soft, which it is and it's a really nice touch, but the shape of the handle is so nice that even if it wasn't soft, it would be very comfortable.The four latches makes the lid very secure, and the two steel reinforced lock holes add to the security and difficulty to break in. Now nothing is 100% secure and if someone wanted to get into it, they could, just like all of the other brands, but it would take a lot of time and a lot if effort to get into this one.The case is a little heavy, but remember that this is the big size and you definitely get what you pay for.This is a great case and worth the price in my opinion.

This is the largest of the several hard cases I use for my camera gear. In addition to the width and length, it offers a depth that will make it a lot easier to get some of the larger cameras secured with sufficient padding above and below.The interior foam consists of four layers that totally fill the volume of the case. The lid has the 'convoluted' bumpy pattern. The main cavity has three layers of equal thickness. The bottom layer is not cut or segmented to pick apart. The other two layers are the foam that is pre-scored so you can pick and pluck out cavities for your contents.The width and the grip thickness of the handle on this case are generously large. For people with large hands or wearing thick gloves this will be a bonus feature. The hinges are the usual construction I've encountered on this brand of cases; no reason to think these not hold up under abuse. There are two front clasps and two side clasps. All of them operate with what I call 'force' in that there is no mechanism of sliders or catches to use. They are just stout hooks that take hand force to pull away or to push into place.The underside is basically flat; no protrusions. The shell of the case is at least as thick as any other large case I have tried and possible a bit thicker but I couldn't measure it to be sure. The flat top and bottom didn't flex when pushed in. There are two padlock holes on this case with the holes surrounded with stamped metal guarding for extra measure.
