I am 5’ 11.5” 180lb 37/35/42 and I bought an xl based on reviews. I am normally 12-14. I think I could size down to a large. I am returning, only because another dress I ordered fit well and didn’t need to order another.

It looks nice but was too big and bully and looked like something an old person would wear different than the picture

I was very happy with the quality of this dress. It is a pull on, no zippers or snaps and the fabric is slightly stretchy, but not too stretchy. The fabric is also fairly heavy weight, which is good to hide problem areas. I have purchased several other dress dresses from Amazon and I usually get medium, but decided on large this time. I’m glad I did because I am fairly small on top and it was perfectly fitted around my chest. The A-line is a great shape for girls with larger hips.

36-29-39 and I ordered the medium. It was snug but OK at bust, perfect at waist, fine at hips (and could have easily fit wider hips than mine.) If you are any larger at bust you should size up. I'm 5'8" and have a long torso and the waist hip in the right spot on me.Fabric was thick enough not to show your undergarments.I didn't love the gathering details at the front. It wasn't awful, just didn't like enough for the price paid. The dress is definitely on the long side, and I would have hemmed it had I kept it. The "blackish green" color was nice.
