I recently purchased this dust cover to help prevent dust from getting all over any bedrooms that I was installing 6-in pod lights in. Now don't let this cover or bowl being plastic interfere with what it does well. Because this thing is so much better than the metal ringed alternative.I purchased the metal-ringed alternative first because I thought it would be more durable. Bad move. The ring came off on the very first go-around with the drill. This made all the dust and debris fallout of the bottom of the dust bowl.I gave up on that dust Bowl and immediately ordered this one because of all the stellar reviews. This guy worked so well that I don't have a speck of dust anywhere else in my room. I am so impressed that I have actually lent this out to my neighbors. I drilled 18 holes in my ceiling for various lights and fixtures and I can say I don't have a disaster in any area. The plastic is still very much intact and the ring that goes on top of your drill doesn't even look like it's been used. I can't be more impressed with this dust Bowl. Well worth the $15 or $17.

Great product. The only complaint is the milky color. After drilling one hole, it has to be a little clean up. Otherwise, it's hard to see through for the next hole. Completed 12 holes with this bowl. Just a little dust fell to the floor.

Wasn't sure it would do the job when I bought it. Minimizes the mess. You do have wipe it down after each hole to keep visibility. Saved an hour of clean up per you. Worth the money.

Does a great job catching the dust. Easy to set up, use and even clean. Saves a TON of dust flying everywhere and makes it so you can look up a bit easier while drilling the holes in the ceiling. (Where glasses mkay).
