I've been doing crossword puzzles, as a hobby, for the last fifty years. I have many crossword puzzle books at home but they all contain easy crosswords and they're getting way too easy. I thought this book would offer me more of a challenge. It certainly did! It contains the most nebulous, obscure, ridiculous hints I've ever seen. I didn't expect that the hints to be so strange that I had to figure them out before I could figure out a word that would fit in the crossword! I've tried four of the Easy Crosswords and this isn't enjoyable; it's frustrating and a total waste of time. I thought I'd bought a very old book but it says it was printed in 2022! I heartily do not recommend this book to a single person!NOTE: I just noticed that this book is described as a Crostic Puzzle book in the description. On Amazon's list of Crostic puzzles, it's listed as the best seller. This has me completely confused. I've done Crostics but they weren't like the puzzles in this book at all. I also noticed the book is independently published. That might be why so many of the hints are archaic. It may have a copyright date of 2022 but it might be in its 25th printing. Just a thought!
