I took several pics to show various stages of putting this tree together. It only took about 15 minutes to do, and it was so easy. I have had real 11' tall Christmas trees for the past 20 yrs., but that has just become too much for me. This tree, which is 5' tall counting the big branch on top for the star, will be easy for me to decorate and undecorate this year.This tree will be able to hold some heavy ornaments that were usually a bit too much for live trees. I won't have to crawl under the tree with a jug of water everyday on my hands and knees. I like that I can set this tree up on Nov. 1 and take it down the day after epiphany. Doing that with a live tree would have been a serious fire hazard. There will be no more blocked doorways or branches in front of the TV screen because I didn't think the tree was that wide! I won't be finding needles all year stuck in the carpet just to bring more in when they're all about gone... No more clogging up my vac because I didn't want to sweep. I won't be risking my health teetering on a ladder, stretching as far as I can to light and decorate the top of a live tree. (It's a sheer wonder the live tree and I never fell through the front window!) For all of those reasons and more, I got this 5' artificial tree. I am so, so happy that I did. This 5' artificial tree is beautiful. I no longer feel depressed about my decision against getting a live tree this year. Don't judge this tree when you look into the box and see it squished down. Wait until it's all the way up. You will be amazed!One of the things that I like is that this artificial tree looks so much more lifelike than artificial trees used to look. Find the tag that came with this tree and follow how it tells you to bend the branches. I didn't find it until later, but the tree is so much more realistic if you follow it. With lights and ornaments, this artificial 5' tree will look just fabulous. I am seriously thinking about just going ahead and decorating it, I am so excited. I also got a cover for the artificial tree so I can just stand it in the storage room after Christmas passes.This artificial 5' tree is just ideal. Once the lights and decorations are in it, I think that visitors will be fooled into thinking that it is real, just smaller.The only thing missing from this tree will be the smell of a real Frasier fur. I will get a Christmas candle this year to cover that.I highly recommend this 5'artificial tree... It really is a very nice looking tree. I recommend it to everyone, but especially to people whom are older like me.5 stars.5 stars
