We have been so sick of how quickly we use paper towels, so I decided this was a good replacement option for most messes. I was shocked by the quality of these towels! They have held up well to a few washes and are easy to place back on the roll. They almost stick to each other. They dry quickly and look nice on the counter. You wouldn’t know they are not paper towels!

I am happy that these have helped me decrease my paper towel consumption. However, there are some cons to this item. 1) I use paper towels frequently, so the entire roll only lasts me about a day. I have to wash the towels at the end of each night. I would recommend getting two rolls and combining them if you use lots of paper towels. 2) They aren't super absorbent. 3) They retain stains after washing. 4) They are a little difficult to roll back up.However, I am ultimately happy with this purchase since it is helping me decrease my waste production.

I originally thought these would be a great gift idea for my incredibly crunchy granola loved ones, who can be tough to gift for. Imagine my surprise to discover I haven’t spent money on paper towels in 9 months?? I consider myself fairly eco conscious but not to the extent of some of my friends. I had the concern that these might turn out to just be a bougie take on kitchen rags so i wanted to confirm if they’d be useful before I gave a set to my more experienced climate conscious community. These are definitely more functional than “rags”, and they’ve not only replaced paper towels for me in my daily life around the house, but also tissues and sometimes dish towels. These are the perfect amount absorbent, I can use one for a task that would normally require 3-5 paper towels, they’re soft and I can fit them into crevices to clean, I don’t have to worry about accidentally bleaching them, they’re so plentiful I don’t have to be precious about how many I’m using, they’re perfect for wiping your eyes and face for skincare, especially as using towels repeatedly for washing your face re-introduces bacteria and exacerbates acne. They’re great for handkerchief applications like wiping your eyes when you cry, and they’re easy to put back on the roll. I’d get a set of these for everyone I know, not just my Subaru granola kayak friends. I hope you give them a try.

I have been working on updating household items to reusable or less plastic in phases and have been considering reusable paper towels for some time and finally pulled the trigger. I only wish I had done it sooner! These are fantastic! They have replaced the "counter sponge" for quick clean ups where the towel is hung to dry and reused throughout the week, they work great on deeper clean ups like spills or pet messes that are more of a one use and toss in the laundry basket, they are softer than the reusable napkins we have so these are often used as dinner napkins, they absorb food water great like drying fish or pressing tofu without leaving cloth on the food. They don't look as put together back on the holder after washing as when they first come, but they cling well so they aren't falling off which I like (I was afraid I was going to end up with a drawer full of towels...nope!) They even do a great job washing my mirrors! They do shrink a little bit after washing, but the quality of absorbency and not piling holds up. I don't treat for stains so many of mine do now have oil marks, bleach marks (cool tie dye look though), tomato stains, etc. I'm not sure if they would come out if I treated before washing, but I just decided that what I'm using them for is going to cause things like that and I don't want to take the time to avoid those things. I am so happy to have made this switch and even though we have a package of paper towels on standby, they haven't been pulled out once since we got these over a month ago!

These are one of the best household products my partner and I have purchased. They not only come in great colors but they’ve saved us so much by not having to by disposable paper towels. They aren’t as rapidly absorbent as regular paper towels but still hold lots of liquid and are very sturdy. 10/10
