It’s a nice looking table but the pieces don’t lay flush. It took hours to put together because once parts that were already done kept falling apart. I’m no stranger to putting furniture together so I’m pretty confident this wasn’t on me.

The assembly overall was smooth for me except the last part when I tried to install the pair of foot boards that get screwed on to the base using allen screws. Either the bolt length was not enough or the recessed hole was not deep enough for bolt to catch onto enough threads in the base board's nut. So foot boards kept staying lose. I finally used my 9/16" spade drill bit to add another 1/8" of depression in the hole and now the boards were able to secure tightly. Attaching picture to show that allen bolt goes slightly below the top level of the footboard.Also showing spade drill bit I used to deepen the depression. Be careful with the drill speed, given it's particle board, its very easy to go deeper than you would like, so go gentle on the drill.

When I bought it, I had read some previous comments from other buyers, but I was surprised by the quality of the product. It comes with many pieces to assemble, it is true, but the manual is quite simple to follow, you just need a little patience. It is perfect for what I need.

I looked at one similar (different seller, but looked identical) on wayfair. The reviews complained about seeing the hardware. This one is seamless. No hardware showing. Sturdy even though it's not real wood. I would purchase again. The company sent me replacement screws. No complaints at all!
