Update-I did a pretty good job masking the "smell" in the handbag by putting it in a plastic Ziploc bag then adding several scents inside the bag. I can still detect the smell but it's not as bad so I plan to keep the bag. 1st post.... After reading the reviews I ordered this handbag, it is the perfect size for me, very soft and has a very long adjustable strap. But there is a "smell" that I can't identify.. I almost sent it back but because it's so attractive I decided to let it air out. Will update my post once the airing out process is complete
