This is so much better than my wired one. I get to deal with anxiety and having a rear facing toddler in the backseat and it looks so much neater without cords but still works great!! Just to clarify- it does have to have cords to charge, but there is not cord from the front to the back. It also holds the charge so it doesn’t have to stay plugged in 24/7. You can use the same c cable cord to charge the screen and something else!Editing to add, it’s a little inconvenient that you have to remember to power both items. Turning on the monitor does not signal the camera to turn on or vice versa. You have to hold the power button down for a few seconds on both. I’m horrible at remembering until we get 5 minutes down the road and then end up doing whole drive without it bc I don’t wanna stop and climb in back to power up the camera.

Really like the wireless features of this monitor. I have been hesitant to get a wired camera because I didn't want to have to deal with running a wire from the back of my car to the front. The wireless features work flawlessly and the picture quality is excellent.My biggest complaint with this device is that it requires powering on both the camera and monitor every time you get in the car. I feel like it's sorely lacking a feature which turns off the camera when the monitor is shut off to save battery. Likewise I feel like it could also benefit from automatically switching off either device if the car is turned off and power source is off. As it is I have to manually power off both devices when I turn off the car upon arriving at home. I guess I could leave them both plugged into the lighter and let their batteries die overnight but doing so requires me to then keep them both plugged into my lighter slot permanently which kind of defeats the purpose of the wireless camera.Overall I'm pretty happy with this but it would be easily 5 stars if I was able to power on/off the camera from the monitor without having to remember to do it every time I start/stop the car.
