This looked to be ideal for carpentry projects I work on. It's built well out of aluminum and the concept is great for keeping the device square to an edge of your work. Problem is, it's small. It fits in the palm of my hand. It does list the dimensions in the writeup, which of course I didn't read. It doesn't span the width of a 2x4, which if you know your carpentry, is only 3.5 in. wide. The dimensions on the device are in mm, not inches. Not sure if I will ever use it. My bad for not noticing the dimensions and realizing it was so small. Maybe they make a bigger one. Disappointed.

It makes running lines around the edge of your work piece so easy. It’s small and lightweight yet very durable. I use it all the time on my woodworking projects.

I bought this for my job since 90% of my job is marking up and drilling holes and also scribing lines to fab/assemble frames to be welded. light weight and very accurate. if you are too strong you will push, the ruler very slightly and line will be curved. try to avoid dropping. can easily be file down even after a few drops. Still very accurate and reliable.
