Loved the quality fresh out of the box. Sharp, clean, and smooth pilot holes. However after an extended period of use (Less than 3 months post purchase) over half of these bits have broken from the hex attachment, bent, or just unusable.I am a full time carpenter and thought these would be worth a try. They were for about 1.5 months, then each bit started to fail. I’d suggest these for anyone who is looking for something to have on hand around the house, but these just don’t hold up to a professional standard.Sad because I use all makita power tool, thought these would last. Unfortunately they just don’t hold up to everyday use.
