Feel free to DM me if you have any questions, more below 👇 -- This project uses megascans for rocks and foliage, everything else is made specifically for this project in 3DS Max by myself, scene has no baked assets, all procedurally textured with tiling materials, custom trim and decal sheet (and normal map versions with POM) and my custom material function to add edge wear, dust settling, dirt buildup and rust / wear to add to its believability and biome integration, applied some knowledge from my time working on Star Citizen as an Environment Artist previously. -- Uses a landscape, and a landscape master material I made, utilises the foliage function in the material, as well as nanite tesselation, virtual texturing methods used to blend assets into landscape, landscape was made using real satellite lidar data from the Great Sand Dunes in Colorado, and hand scultped to fit my scene. -- Goal for this project was to have fun and learn more environment art, re-familiarise myself with UE5 after 2 years in CryEngine working on Star Citizen, a lot of the environment isn't in the final renders, these are just the shots I picked, tried to do a decent job at lighting this one as well. -- Appreciate you checking my work out, happy world building! - Jack
