I used to have a cheaper camera but wanted to upgrade to 4k. I tried a lot of the generics in the 90-105 range. I understand why people dish out a little bit more for this camera. Better overall video quality than the other cameras I tried out (which were a few). You can even adjust the image. I bought a resale version so I was able to save a few bucks.

Pros: This camera has excellent video quality. The built in privacy shade is nice. There is also an indicator when just the mic is being used, which turns to a different color when the video is also being used. Very good for indicating when an app is accessing the video or mic. The mic audio is clear and works well enough for company meetings for remote work. Background noise cancelling works well.Cons: The mic produces tinny audio. I wouldn't want to use it for streaming or recording content. The older Logitech C920 had a much better mic!

I'm using this with Microsoft Teams in combination with a Jabra Speak 750, and the combo is great. The camera quality over Teams is outstanding with this camera. I've used both the microphones on this and the mic on the Jabra, and the feedback from most folks is minimal on the difference. There is a slight benefit to the Jabra noise reduction, but not enough to warrant buying it separately (I already owned the Jabra when purchasing the Brio). The Logi software made setting this up easy - I was able to narrow the field of view so only a specific area of my office is visible. My favorite feature is the shutter. Compared to previous Brios, this is easy to open/close, and closing it automatically turns off the camera function in Teams. It sits securely on a 34" curved monitor and using the shutter doesn't move the camera at all. This camera is pricey, but it's worth it.

I got this webcam about a week ago now and so far it works great. I have a home office that I have meetings in quite regularly and I was tired of using my laptop camera because my laptop is usually docked all day long.I finally pulled the trigger on this external webcam and I'm very happy with it. The video quality is great and the microphone quality is fine for most meetings. Another plus is that you can mount it to a standard tripod mount and I'm using a portable tripod mount that I got for my phone and it works great with it. This way I can just prop it up on my desk. The mount that is used to put on a monitor is very solid and good quality. The magnetic mount is a nice touch. I just won't be using it unfortunately. It's also nice that it works with three different suites of Logitech software so you can use what is most comfortable for you. I like the Logitech g suite and an integrates beautifully.If you want to use it for facial recognition for your computer, that's not available but I don't care about that so it wasn't an issue for me.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this webcam and I look forward to meetings where I, being a technical IT consultant, can present so much better now.
