I bought this in October to replace a similar throw from last year which had broken and was unrepairable by the end of winter. I read all the reviews on many similar items before going with this one. I’m glad I had read the comments from others as the first few times that I turned it on it took ages to heat up but after a couple of days it heats up brilliantly. It’s so warm and snuggly that I really wouldn’t be without it and have recommended it to others. I’m sure it’s saved us loads on the heating bill as my husband is a warm blooded creature and if often happy with the heating off but I’m cold! Bonus - or is it negative - the cat adores it too and loves to sit on my lap in the evening under the throw in the warm. He’s not allowed on top as he might claw it and damage it.

We have two throws that worked perfectly since October 2022. On taking out of storage in November 2024 for the forthcoming cold season both throws cut out on first use - showing error message "P". According to the instructions this means a faulty connection in supply to the blankets. I checked the plug and sockets, clean and dry. I have been able to get both throws to work again by leaving them set to the "0" temperature setting when first switching on the mains supply, and leaving the on "0" for around 10 minutes or so. I then adjust to the "Hi" temperature setting and they then heat up. Intermediate temperature settings however usually generate another "P" message and the throws stop working. I'm guessing from my results so far that the the electronic thermostat/timers don't now work properly on the intermediate temperature settings. Judging from other reviews this could be a common problem. These throws were purchased in October 2022 so are out of warranty. It would be interesting to know if the manufacturer has now fixed this fault.

After buying my first heated throw last year I now consider them to be an essential item. I suffer from a debilitating pain condition and the heat from this blanket really helps. Even on the days when the pain is not bad, the family joke is that I still like my blanket for the ‘comfort value’ because there is something really comforting about it. My first blanket developed a fault and the customer service from that company was quite frankly appalling, so I thoroughly researched buying a new blanket to try and ensure I would not have the same problem and experience again.I knew that I wanted something that was a dark grey colour, a large/extra large size, something that was machine washable and had many positive Amazon reviews. This blanket ticked all those boxes and, although it was slightly more than I originally wanted to pay, I ordered it. The blanket has nine heat settings and a timer so you can pick what you want to suit your needs. The material is a nice, deep grey colour and lovely and soft. Even on a warmer day the blanket is a really nice cover, even when switched off. When switched on it warms up quite quickly and has a lovely comforting heat. I washed the blanket before use and found it stayed just as soft as before.I am more than pleased with this blanket. It really does make a big difference to my life and I am hoping it keeps working for a long time. It really is a five star product but as it was quite expensive I have to knock off one star. So this is a four star product but definitely five stars in terms of comfort and ease of use,

I've really enjoyed using this blanket for the past few days. It keeps you toasty but without getting particularly hot to the touch. I've also used it just as a regular blanket because it's such a nice thick fleece that it's good for keeping warm even without being plugged in! A few things worth noting are, yes you can feel the internal heating elements inside the blanket but due to the thickness of the blanket and the thinness of the internals, you hardly notice them at all. Another is that of the 10 heat settings, I only really notice the difference at the top three highest settings. It's perfectly easy to use but there are quite a few safety guidelines to follow to ensure safe use of the product. I haven't had it long enough to know how well it washes and dries yet. I bought the blue purely because it was the cheapest colour at the time of purchase (£10 less than the others) I don't think I'd have paid anymore than I did for it as much as I like it, but it's a nice deep blue and the fabric is lovely and soft too.

I read every review for every heated throw going and this one seemed to come out on top. A lot of them appear to stop working after a few months. I'm happy to say this one is excellent! Very soft, heats nicely (feels subtle at first but it does get going) and feels well made. Would buy again and that's all you really need to know!Bonus tip: the first time I used mine it took forever to get warm. After that it was fine!
