Well, I'm out $100. Despite using the appliance as specified the motor started stopping periodically during blending (you have to wait for 8 hours before trying it again) and after 6 weeks of use it started smoking, filling my kitchen with smoke and a terrible burning smell for days. But it has a 1 year warranty, hooray!Oh wait...good luck with that. It says to contact them about the warranty by filling out a form online. Did that. Got a form letter back saying "all warranty issues must be done over the phone". Cool. There was no "supervisor" available so I was told I'd get a call back within 72 hours. Didn't. Called back and had to start the whole thing from scratch again. Instead of just sending a replacement they put me on the phone with a "product specialist" who wanted me to then plug it in and run it again. I declined as I was not willing to start a frigging fire in my kitchen by plugging in a malfunctioning appliance.And then I was told that because the product I bought had been manufactured a year earlier (despite the fact that I purchased it new 6 weeks earlier) they would not cover it because "environmental factors like AIR" can degrade the oil in the blades and the warranty doesn't cover the blades.So, to be clear, I was 1. sent an item that was already too old to function safely by the time it was sent to me according to their own product specialist, 2. AIR degrades the ability of the blades to function correctly....AIR and 3. the blades aren't covered, period. The appliance consists of a motor and blades. And they don't cover the blades.Oh, and if you want replacement parts for your defective product you're paying for the shipping. I would never buy another Nutri Bullet product again knowing that the warranty is pointless because they themselves admit that once their appliances are 6 months old they are already expected not to be able to function correctly (even if they have never been used in those 6 months). And, you know, because the motor literally lit on fire after 6 weeks of use. Buy at your own risk.

I use it for fruit/vegetable smoothies. More plastic in this model than earlier models. Quite loud but effective.
