The FREE SOLDIER Winter Snow Boots for Men should work very well once the bad weather comes. I could feel my feet and ankles warm up immediately and get almost hot as soon as I put them on. I removed the insole (rather thin) and added an insert I use for my flat feet. It fit easily with lots of room to spare. I ordered the 10 1/2 but got a 10 (which is actually my size) and I still have room for thick socks! Walking around, I found that the sole of the shoe is stiff. Use should help this. The tread is aggressive and looks like it would do well in snow. The description mentions that the "Arctic Grip technology" tread will help grip ice ( I really will try to avoid testing this out, but I'm glad to hear it!). Construction is very good. They definitely look like they will keep out the water and cold. 3M Insulate is always a good selling point! I wish, though, that the top couple of shoelace attachments were speed lace for ease of lacing/unlacing! I'm actually looking forward to using these boots this winter.

I really like these boots! They are very thick and sold feeling. The inner lining is warm and I haven't yet had to try them on ice, I did try them on slick, wet concrete and the soles are very grippy. I normally wear a size 11, but I usually order up a size in boots to give me more room for wedging my feet into them, plus I usually wear thick socks. These do seem true to size as they were just slightly large on me once my feet were in place. I really like the looks of these and they feel well-made. These boots are a very good value and I highly recommend them.

These boots almost feel like you're walking in ski boots or platform boots- they have very stiff soles that give about an inch of lift. It takes a little bit to get used to walking in them, but they give you firm footing.The insulation in them was warm, but also had some breathability. I was testing them in warmer weather outside and my feet were warm but weren't baking, but I can also see where it will keep you warm in the snow. There's lots of weatherproofing in these.These fit my wide feet! I normally wear a wide shoe, so I was a little nervous these would be too narrow, but they fit width great! They were a tad short on one foot, but that has more to do with my weird shaped feet. It would be within the range of stretch on the material, but given the stiff composition of this shoe, it may not stretch.I look forward to playing in the snow!

These boots are well made and have great grip . they are very warm and fit snug the arch is a little stiff and takes a while to feel broken in . everything else about the boots feels very good great support and snug .

I'm getting a little older and I want to have good, solid winter boots for the Western New York winter. The Free Soldier Snow Boots are perfectly designed to tackle the weather I've had to endure!The inner padding is soft velvet and VERY comfortable to the touch. The padding underneath the lining is thick and cushions nicely. There's reasonable space for the toes too. Which is weird because I ordered 10.5 and received size 10, but the fit is perfect none-the-less.The outside is practically a work of art. There are sculpted and textured surfaces all over this thing, and the intent is very clearly to among other things sluice off water and keep the feet dry. The soles of the feet are extremely well crafted to handle not just snow but also ice!As soon as I put these on my feet started to warm up, and it's mid-September.These almost make me wish for winter! Almost. But it's very comforting to know that when it DOES finally arrive, I'll be ready for it. Highly recommended boots!
