They replaced the backpack with the exact same backpack, and they asked me to "take a photo of the problem" so that they can "fix the problem so that it doesn't happen again." I received the new backpack quickly, and have been using it ever since. I DO love this backpack and it has everything I wanted in a backpack, as follows: Waist strap; chest strap; room for more than just the bladder when it's filled (there is plenty of room for snacks, a phone, and other things), a cover over the end of the mouthpiece, and it is comfortable to wear too. I would highly suggest that you purchase this backpack!INITIAL REVIEW: This backpack had everything I wanted. I have used it daily for one month and loved it. My return window ended May 23, 2024, and on May 28, 2024 the waist strap broke. Of course my return window is closed and I thought perhaps I could reach out to the seller, but it looks like the seller Amazon and I can’t even reach out to anyone about this… Product support is not available… So now I have a broken backpack that I can’t return.

The hydra pack works well. It is not as heavy as I thought and it is sturday.

Perfect for day hikes and I've even used the bladder with my bigger backpack. Love that it has a mouthpiece cover and the bladder itself is pretty easy to clean. Kind of wish I hadn't also bought a platypus and only used this one for my longer hikes too. The backpack has plenty of room for snacks and other small items. It fits well and isn't bulky or heavy. The chest straps and waist straps have more than enough length so you can make it as adjustable as you need. We ended up buying two and may even buy a few more for the rest of the family.

This hydration backpack is really handing for camping, hiking and just about any activity where you need drinking water handy. It fits comfortably on the back & shoulders with adjustable straps, is sturdy and lightweight, and seems very well made. The water bladder inside is of course, refillable, well made & doesn't have any unusual taste, like some containers do. It has never leaked any water. It's easy to drain & store also, just make sure you let it dry completely before sealing & storing the water bladder, so it doesn't mold. I've used it several times & am very please with its performance. Highly recommended!
