I bought this for my boyfriend’s birthday. I didn’t think there would be an issue with the use as he’s a mechanic himself. Unfortunately because it was for his birthday and couldn’t give it to him right away the time ran out for the return window otherwise I’d return this. Item definitely doesn’t work as described, isn’t easy to use even for a mechanic. Connectivity and accuracy is off as well. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

This may seem a little expensive to some, but trust me they have a great product and even better Customer Service to back up their product. I had an issue where I received Honda modules instead of Ford, twice. After talking with the company, they acknowledged it was an Amazon Warehouse labeling issue and they had recalled all the product to fix the labels. Instead of having me go through the trouble of returning to Amazon again and waiting 2 weeks for refund, they sent me a label to ship mine back, and they overnighted a Correct one to me. Hugh thanks again for all your help! With regards to the product itself, it worked beautifully with FDRS and I've had no issues updating modules and software. The installation was a breeze and it's nice seeing thr Mongoose as an option in Fords own software. Thanks for a great product! I highly recommend this over any cheaper knock off product that may brick your modules.

This is the least expensive adapter that is officially supported by FDRS. It is by no means cheap, but it works great. There are cheaper alternatives, but they carry risk and compatibility issues some have experienced. I don't want to worry about this which is why I decided to pay for this. It also works for Forscan, but you shouldn't buy this just for Forscan as there are cheap, reliable options that work fine with it.

I recently purchased a Vehicle Programmer and I have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. The programmer is easy to install and use, even for someone who has limited technical knowledge like myself. What I love most about this Vehicle Programmer is the range of features it offers. From improving fuel efficiency to increasing horsepower, this programmer has everything you need to optimize your vehicle's performance. It also comes with a variety of pre-set tuning options, making it easy to find the perfect balance of power and efficiency for your specific needs.I also appreciate the fact that this programmer is compatible with a wide range of vehicle makes and models, so it's suitable for use by a variety of people.Overall, I highly recommend this Vehicle Programmer to anyone who wants to get the most out of their vehicle. It's a reliable and powerful tool that is well worth the investment.

Great Product with Great Customer ServiceToyota Mongoose Cable:I purchased a Drew Technologies Toyota MFC2 (green case) that was USB only a few years ago. Have a couple Toyota’s myself as well as few more with friends and family that I look after occasionally. I concluded I had saved enough with DIY and had enough Toyota’s to justify the cost of an official cable for troubleshooting. Being a DIY’er I didn’t think the Bluetooth option was worth the extra cost as little as I was expecting to use it compared to a shop. The cable was hassle free and worked every time after activating Techstream.I ended up using it more than I expected as my Toyota’s are aging. Found it annoying to be tethered with a USB cable trying to troubleshoot. Had to walk back and forth so much checking the screen while taking readings or listening for sounds while Techstream was doing a test. Decided I would upgrade to Bluetooth if a new Mongoose version was released, and sure enough it did recently.Purchased the Toyota version of the new line of Mongoose-Plus, with Bluetooth this time around. Been great to be wireless; I can walk around with a Windows tablet in hand or sit in a comfy chair troubleshooting an issue. A nice upgrade, the USB cable is detachable for all versions including USB only. It uses a USB-A connector and has screws to secure it. Nice feature if the cable is damaged, for example closing it in a car door. The new case seems even more robust than the prior version as well. Bluetooth connection is easy and reliable, pair it once and the interface driver takes care of the rest when Techstream first loads. An upgrade as well, this version has external status lights.OPUS Customer Service:I had the chance to experience customer service from OPUS IVS, the now owner of Drew Technologies. I purchased through the new OPUS IVS store on Amazon, with the cable shipped / fulfilled by Amazon. When it arrived, I could not get the Bluetooth to work. After reading the user guide, I suspected I was sent a USB only version by mistake. I contacted OPUS through Amazon’s help system – within minutes I had a response with a phone number, a real number not an 800.When I called, it was the desk phone of an OPUS sales manager at their main office in Michigan. We talked, emailed some pictures, and internal discussion on their end. Not sure how it happened, but indeed I had been sent a USB only version. The sales manager called me back a couple times with updates throughout the day as things progressed. By that afternoon they had a Bluetooth version with FedEx for overnight delivery. Top notch customer service on resoling that issue – mistakes happen, and they made it right as fast as possible.
