Schwarzkopf Keratin Color Permanent Hair Color, 7.5 Caramel Blonde, 1 Application Professionally Inspired Permanent Hair Dye for up to 80% Less Breakage vs Untreated Hair and up to 100% Gray Coverage

I bought this to use after I bleached my hair which is a terrible idea so please do not do, and I still had some leftover blue/teal/turquoise in my hair and it bleached it away! Now I’m a very bright blonde and I can’t wait to get another box! I think if I didn’t bleach it prior it would have not left my ends so dry but other than that my hair didn’t burn too bad!

Kit has all the needed items for an at home color session. I have been using Revlon Colorsilk (lightest natural blonde, then a toner when needed) on my 75% grey, once brunette hair. Thought I’d try a higher end product. I followed the directions to the letter. Where my disappointment comes from is the kits toner which left my top layer lavender after only 5 minutes after rinsing dye. I will say dye did lift well, no roots, my hair did feel smooth afterwords (I do use Olaplex products), strong smell (compared to Revlon) and I did suffer some burning scalp similar to a perm, which I don’t have with Revlon Colorsilk. 1st photo to left is before, next 2 are after. Lavender tint did not photograph well, hair just looks grey, but it is there. I know it’s a gamble when dying hair, and hair doesn’t always match the box in the end. Bottom half of hair came out the color I wanted, just the top is too light, just white with a strong lavender tint. I will most likely not buy again. It’s hard to find a pearl blonde kit. On their color chart, I will admit my hair might have been too light for this color already, so follow their guidelines to be safe. Update, I’ve been using a clarifying shampoo on top to remove toner and color is improving. Because my hair was so light and there was no real brassy tones, I should have passed on the toner. Only four stars because of smell, burning and what I consider more hair loss when compared with other hair coloring products I have used.

I don't use any other color! This brand works and does not destroy my hair or kill my lungs with some insane ammonia smell! I'll use this brand for as long as I'm able to color my own hair (been doing it for last 25 years)!

This is by far the best hair color I've ever used. My hair has been colored light ash blonde for years. Never quite able to get the yellow/gold tint out even with using the ash tone. This color absolutely does what it says it will do. The color when applied to my light ash blonde turned out a light pearl blonde. No yellow/gold tone. Period.

I was born a toehead and remained light blond until I started getting gray. After using Color Charm for several years I was ok with it but it washed out fast and had to be done more often. My friend with $$$ had her hair done at a salon which used Schwarzkopf and swore by it. I saved up my money and had mine done and what a difference. I will continue to do my own but will use this brand forever!
