Many knowingness opening with this book, how synchronicities driving our lives, where we are why we are, even the book coming to me was part of big synchronicity . This is not just for political leaders, it's for any leader to know themselves. On individual level we are all our own leaders when we pickup work and we take it to finish line.

I loved this book ! It is a must read for all students of the Ancient Wisdom teachings. And it is a wonderful introduction to said teachings, for the relative newcomer. There are 4 sections to this book: 1) The section is defined by the book title; 2) the actual letters from Roerich to President Roosevelt; 3) what amounts to another book, defining the characteristics of a true Spiritual Leader (this was a breath-taking section for me, the nobility of a true leader); 4. an extensive glossary (by the editor) for the book title section. It is extensive and profound (as always for this editor).This is not an abstruse book, but down-to-earth and easy to understand. People who have never heard of Helena Roerich, but are interested in Leadership Conferences will find a wealth of fresh ideas. Esoteric students will also be thrilled by the clear enunciation of what defines the true essence of a spiritual leader.Did I mentioned how very much I love this book? :) An easy 5 stars!

The historical material in Roerich's book is phenomenal! Even just reading the Glossary by itself gives you a grounding in today's political climate.Halfway through her exposition of Leadership I finally recognized the truths of the 1990's CQI movement, except Helena's presentation is spiritually based.I don't know if Helena wrote the opening Introduction but it speaks volumes and gives a wonderful context to the teachings of Shambala.The letters Helena transmitted to President Franklin Roosevelt are full of wondrous insights and suggestions for leading the American people during the difficult times of the Great Depression.This book is a "must" read for everyone with a spiritual interest in the movement of this world.
