My Model 7 shaver was pretty much a wreck. It was dirty, corroded and was a mess that did not perform well. I had never changed the head and was confused by all of the replacement parts available on Amazon. So, I ordered the one that clearly had Braun packaging. It arrived in a reasonable amount of time (about a week) and I removed the old head and soaked the shaver in rubbing alcohol to clean it up as best I could. I was skeptical that the new part would fit but it was perfect. It has given my old shaver a new lease on life. I would have given it 5 stars (the performance is very good now) but the cost is too high. It was actually shipped to me from somewhere in the UK and so it took time. The "free shipping" probably adds greatly to the cost. But, it you cannot find a genuine replacement part in the US, this one is a good choice.
