Had several requirements on different devices to test "current / amp" readings during usage. This meter allowed me to make those measurements with ease and accurately without having to spend a bunch of money on another new tool. Meter is well made and comes with probes as needed with a carry case. Has earned it's place in a jump kit for field testing. Would buy again if needed. Hope this helps - Bill.....

I am pleased with the meter purchased, I like the size, the features and it is easy to work with it because of his weight. It is too early to know how this meter will perform long term but the prize is right for all the feature provided. I own a industrial Fluke meter that does not have the clamp meter feature but this new unit looks great

Overall I've been very pleased. I love the light and the backlit display. The ammeter clamp is very nice, works with both AC and DC. Build quality is pretty good.The only thing that could be better is the leads. The cables are quite stiff, with kinks where the cables were folded when originally packed at the factory. Comparing this to my fluke leads, which are like limp spaghetti, never kinking. The fluke leads also have replaceable ends: either probes or clips.One plus to these Astro leads: they do have a removable shield on the probe so that you can keep the conductive area of the probe to a very small area and reduce the chance of shorting something. That's a nice touch. I just wish they had used a better quality flexible wire.Unfortunately the hole sizes on the AstroAI meter aren't a very good fit for the fluke probes. I can make them work, but the probe connectors are slightly too large for the holes, so I have to force them in.
