Great for someone on a budget, and if you are upgrading from an older 1080p monitor capped at a 60Hz refresh rate(like me), this thing will blow your mind with how smooth everything feels while gaming. Might update this as i get more time with it, only had it about a week.Cons:No HDR, would have sucked ass anyway at this price point, doesnt bother me though.VA panel, nuff said, wish it was IPS but at the price, i can deal with it(and you should too)Included HDMI cable ... would not work with my Desktop or Laptop. I may have gotten a bad cable, but something to note. I expected it to not work with my laptop(its old AF circa 2013), but after building my new pc. it was shocking to see it also didnt work plugged into a 3070... Displayport works just fine.Pros:Price.1500R curve is just right imo for flight sims like dcs if you only have one monitor. The on screen menu is relatively easy to operate due to the joystick input.

I really love this monitor, Have a really good VA panel, quality and too many things, the only thing that I do not like, is that in the image of the product, let you know that you can use this one vertically, however, with the reference MSI 271CQP E2, only allow you to turn it 5 grades instead of all the way vertically, for my is ok, because is my main monitor, but for other one that purchase this product for a second monitor thinking to use it vertically, is sadBut I really love it!

PROS: Things I like. This is a beautiful monitor. The 1000R curved makes it easier on the eyes after a long day at working. I stare at a screen for 8 hours a day for work, so I wanted a curved monitor which will not add to the fatigue so this monitor helps when I want to relax for gaming. This has a wide color gamut and high pixel density which makes a good contrast and beautiful visuals that you would normally see on a IPS panel instead of a VA Panel like this. This has better color display compared to other similar models like an Acer 1000r Curved 27" monitor. Freesync works no problems with my rtx 3080 so no screen tearing. Now the CONS.- NOT HDR CERTIFIED: The product title can be misleading to regular consumers. HDR Ready (keyword bring "Ready") means it fulfills the minimum requirements to support High Dynamic Range (HDR) but was not certified to do so (probably related to certification costs). What this means for us is HDR can be turn on for certain applications and games. For example, I can turn HDR in Battlefield 1 graphic settings which was released in 2016, but not newer games like battlefield 2042 and cannot enable HDR in the window display settings.I got this on sale for $249, however would not buy it at regular price if HDR is your requirement.- NO Monitor Joystick. This screen doesn't have a monitor Joy stick so it's hard to customize the settings while only using the buttons under the screen. At this price point, I would expect at least this.- UNABLE to turn on 165hz mode manually on monitor. For whatever reason, and it could be the particular unit I recieve, I could not turn on 165hz in the monitor settings. Click on the setting only gave me to turn on location for some weird reason. I had to download the MSI display app just to enable 165hz, but it would sometimes reset to 60hz when I do that. Conclusion: Overall Im content with this monitor, however I would reccomend this only if its on sale and if you need a 1000r screen. If you don't need a curved screen, the next best monitor I would reccomend for a 27" that is HDR certified would be the LG 27GP850-B.

I got this monitor for my desk setup as I’m a software engineer and like screen space. I also play some pc games on my downtime. It works great for both. 2k looks very good and has great refresh rate. Don’t need more than 165hz when running 2k. One thing I like is that it looks very elegant. Can blend in well at a office or a gaming setup. When I bought this monitor I was worried about getting broken pixels because of other reviews talking about quality control. This would have been a big problem for me as I am looking at this screen many hours a day while working. When the monitor arrived it was the first thing I checked. 0 broken pixels. No issues. Overall I think it’s worth it.

Overall I'm pretty impressed with this monitor, especially at this price point. The build quality and material are good, but most importantly the picture quality is better than expected. The 144hz response rate is nice and smooth (remember to use a DisplayPort cable), colors are good. The black uniformity isn't great, and off angle especially but being a curved monitor helps reduce the negative impact of that. Given the price point this is a solid choice as long as your aren't looking for OLED black performance.
