Comfy boots BUT FEET GET VERY WET EVEN ON SLIGHTLY DAMP GRASS

The laces on these are sewed in elastic, so you can't tie them or tighten them in any way. They are nice and roomy and you can add your own insoles to improve the feel of them, but they don't look good with a skirt or dress as the tounge tends to slip to one side as you walk and the inability to tighten them means you can't do anything about that. They leak at the seams, so even walking through damp grass can leave you with wet feet.

I've been looking for some waterproof winter boots, for daily wear with either jeans or a dress & tights. I have heel pad atrophy - so I really need a cushioned or soft sole and Arch support. Whilst these are lovely boots to look at - they don't have the support in the sole that I am looking for - so unfortunately I have had to return them.
