The story was relatively simple and cute. It was a clever spin on the will-they/won't-they trope. I don't think there was a single male character in the entire volume, so it sticks to the girls-love genre the whole time. For all I know the story will end up being revealed to be in an alternate reality where men don't exist.The story definitely has erotic elements and spends a good amount of time showing sex between characters. However, the ladies' lower bits are passively censored. That is, the characters are always drawn from angles and situations where their genitals wouldn't be visible anyway. It is a bit disappointing in that, but it makes sense given Japan's issues with censorship.It's always hard to say how explicit and hardcore something like this is, as each person has differing definitions on that. However, I'd say that it is relatively softcore but still inappropriate for teens. This is an 18 manga.I really enjoyed the story and am excited for further volumes. I'm curious to see if it goes in the direction of hooking up the main character and her love interest and dealing with the difficulties of managing a relationship in their circumstance/environment or if it will continue to be a ships-passing-in-the-night story where the main character deals with her continuing experiences that challenge her original goal that set her out on this adventure.

The manga has beautiful art, but it's soft core, without direct view of the characters' genitals. The story has cute scenes, but it seems to romanticize prostitution; all sex scenes are consensual, with no mention of the risks real-world prostitutes face.Enjoy the beautiful fantasy it portrays, but be aware it's a fantasy.

Asumi is hunting for her h.s. crush and suspects she may be working as a lesbian lover-for-hire. It's a cute story, no surprises but Asumi meets her lovers in hotels so I wonder if "Brothel" is a mistranslation or is that what "Outcall" is in Japan. No matter, I'm ordering the second volume to give the series a try before deciding whether to stay with it.

The manga is very beautiful, the colors, the printing is very well done. I bought it as a gift for a special person and I am very satisfied.
