The short version is I love the convenience and easy transcription / meeting summaries, but I loathe the archaically slow transfer speed (it can take 5 minutes to transfer a 1 hour recording to the iphone app).More detailed pros and cons below. Note that I pay for the Pro Plan for more transcription minutes ($79/yr, or $7/mo if you subscribe for the annual rate - otherwise $13 if you opt to pay monthly).Pros- Discreet and thin- Useful all-in-one for meeting transcript summary meeting recaps - love it, super easy and reasonably good audio (not as clear as an iphone Voice app recording, but works perfectly for my purposes)- Responsive customer support- Transcription accuracy is reasonably good (enough for my purposes)- As you review the transcription in the app, you can tap on a specific section to play audio - I use this to manually correct the transcrip, or check who was speaking- Easy to export audio, transcripts, summaries, and mind mapsDrawbacks- Audio quality isn’t super crisp but perfect for my purposes (NOTE that I haven’t tried the RAW audio file option which could make all the difference from a quality perspective, I just haven’t tried it)- The transfer speed is super slow, even on WiFi (~ 26-30kb/second, whereas I read that a normal transfer speed should be at least 100 kb/sec). Very annoying when I want to quickly open or title a file I just recorded.- Because it takes so long to transfer recordings and you can’t create a file name until it’s fully transferred, I end up with a lot of unlabeled recordings that download all at once (have to listen to each one to remember what it was). It would be great if the device at least immediately synced the existence of a recording so it could be labeled in the moment even if not fully transferred.Tips:- I don’t know what the white light means, but it’s only recording if the light is red.- Check out YouTube videos for super easy set up and demo- Remember to check the app to see what the battery level is.- If you lose the bespoke charging cord, you can buy another on Amazon.

However if you record in English and have it transcribeb in other languages (like Thai), it is not accurately translated yet. So I just use English for now. I hope the AI translation will get better in the future. It give you 300 mins every month with the purchase which is good value. If you need more recording you have an option to buy the cloud space. The sound is clear. It is small enough to carry around without being too obvious and look sturdy.
