I needed a stocking-stuffer for my dad last X-Mas, and was not happy with the hardware store brand folding utility knife that he had been carrying, so I thought that maybe he'd like it. He ended up gushing over this more than his big present! I was impressed as well... The crossbar lock is perfect... The fit and finish - great! This thing has to be the best folding utility knife out there. It's perfect for 5th pocket carry and is light as a feather (while still feeling incredibly sturdy). My dad uses his every day and it hasn't given him any trouble. I liked his so much that I bought one for myself and my brother. We all carry these daily for everyday cutting tasks. If you're in the market for a little EDC utility blade knife like this, you'd be hard pressed to find something better - and I've tried a few (including options that cost twice as much).

High quality construction, the bearing and locking mechanisms are much better than I would have expected at this price. The larger section of exposed utility blade makes this much more versatile than a regular box knife. Can easily be opened and closed with one hand and is fully ambidextrous, the locking mechanism is present on both sides of the knife. Includes a small wrench tool to help with blade changes, which is very useful because the locking nut to hold blades is quite tiny. Pocket clip is sturdy and has not bent at all. Only thing I could point to as a downside is the handle length, it's short enough that my pinky is off the back of the handle during use. Mine came with a cheap "Workpro" blade installed, it did not hold up to much abuse but the knife readily accepts any standard utility blades.

Got it for my wife and ended up wanting one but haven't got one yet.. seems very well made and the wife has been using it for the last 2 weeks and says it works just fine and it's so easy to change out the blades... me I ended up getting this and the Gerber pry bar with the clip from the actual Gerber site... I gave her the choice between the two and she said this one was more her style which go figure pink donut😂.... overall for the price of the tool I say it actually a good buy at a decent price the lock up is good being able to hold it comfortably is good the fit in the pocket is awesome and they have a sharp blade when you need it can't beat it😎👍

So overall, I am very pleased with this utility knife. I really like the crossbar lock or whatever it is they call it. It makes deploying one-handed very easy either with the thumb or with the crossbar lock. It’s a size fits into my pocket. The clip is very sturdy. It does not come loose from my pants. It Feels like a quality product to handle. The handle which is made of G 10 feels great in hand. I like the fact that I can use almost the entire edge of the blade when performing cutting tasks. My one complaint is the retention screw when I first received it was so tight that I thought I was gonna break it trying to loosen the blade. I ended up having to use , a pair of pliers to loosen up and I had to move it several times and put a little oil on there just to get the threads to work properly. After several days of doing this knife changes like a breeze and it holds the knife in place securely, but I no longer feel like I’m going to rub the skin off of my fingers trying to turn the knob. All in all a pocket friendly knife for everyday use. Now if I was doing hours of cutting boxes or other things or drywall I would definitely something something more heavy duty but for every day cutting task, this is one of the best utility knives I’ve ever used
