Quality seems excellent. The straps are pretty wide. The clamps are sturdy.

I bought these for use with some insulated nylon over-pants that I use for hiking and skiing. The ones that these are replacing were too stretchy and when I tightened them up, the clips would slip off with any activity.These are wide for comfort. The clips are strong and gnarly and stay put. The elastic stretches enough to let me bend and move but still holds my pants up. I have not found a problem with them yet and will update if I do.Very satisfied customer.
