Even though she picked apart the film, I think, for the most part, she liked the ELVIS movie! I know I love it! My daughter bought me the CD but I watch it constantly on Netflix!!

For those who have watched the 2022 Elvis movie and wondered how accurate it was, then this movie is for you. It addition, to give a scene by scene rating, Young also gives some background on how the idea of the movie came about and Baz's process, Austin's auditions, Priscilla and Lisa's reactions as well as the publicity behind the movie.The ratings are subjective and the author's own personal ratings, so I wouldn't pay too much attention to those. However, information about the movie depictions of the actual is very good. Highly recommend.

Ms. Young has written an entertaining and informative book that I found very enjoyable. It is a revealing read while pointing out and correcting the many faulty happenings in the Elvis film. The author has a delightful and attention getting style with her writing. The large volume of research to produce the depth of information the author has provided in this book is very impressive. What a shame that filmmakers produce a biographical Elvis movie with so much false information. Thank you Ms. Young for bringing it to our attention and educating all of us.
