Mr. White Set of 2 Cordless Wireless Rechargeable Portable Top Touch Battery Operated Powered LED Dimmable Small Table Lamp for Restaurant Kitchen Patio Dinner Dining (Gold)

Recently I ordered a wireless table lamp with a design style similar to the present cordless lamp by “Mr. White” but sold by a different vendor under a different brand name. As I was fairly satisfied with the features and performance of the other lamp, I was looking for a second similar lamp, so I ordered the cordless lamp by “Mr. White”. When the lamp arrived a few days later, I placed the ‘Mr. White’ lamp next to my lamp from the other vendor—they were essentially identical. Even the lamp specifications are nearly identical. There is no brand label anywhere, neither on the box, or on the lamp itself. So my guess is that these lamps likely were manufactured in the same factory in China, and then purchased by different vendors who sell them under different brand names.As I mentioned in my review of the other lamp, my main intended use is to have them on my outdoor patio tables, without having to worry about running extension cords across the deck. The lamp also works well as a night light or a reading light. The adjustable brightness ensures that you do not disturb someone who may be sleeping. The lamp would also come in handy during power failures, which unfortunately are not uncommon here in Quebec.The lamp itself is made of mostly aluminium with the exception of the plastic lens and stands about 13.5 inches tall and 3.25 inches in diameter. It is fairly lightweight, weighing less than 350 grams (about 0.75 lbs); fortunately most of the weight is located in the base which houses the battery. This should make the lamp more stable and less prone to tipping over. The circular lamp head itself houses 24 LED beads: 12 cold white and 12 amber. By having either only the white, only the amber LEDs, or both the white and amber illuminated together provides the three colour temperatures. There is a ‘main’ power button located on the bottom of the base. Once this is switched to the ‘ON’ mode, the lamp can be turned on/off and adjusted by touching the top of the lamp. Tapping the top will cycle through the 3 colours. Touching and holding the top will cause the lamp brightness intensity to change, either increase or decrease. At full intensity, the lamp is surprisingly bright. There is no memory function to remember the settings, so each time the lamp is turned off and back on again, it always starts with the amber at maximum intensity.The product description given on the Amazon web page says the battery capacity is 5200 mAH. However, there is no such indication of that (nor of any other specs), either on the lamp itself, nor on the box or the Instruction sheet. Depending upon the light intensity, a full charge is supposed to last 8 – 40 hours – I did not verify this. The lamp is recharged by a USB-C port located on the side of the base (a short USB-C to USB-A cable is included). The port is not covered, so while this lamp can be used outdoors, it cannot be left exposed to rain. There is a small LED behind the port that glows red during charging and turns green when the lamp is fully charged. There are three ‘feet’ stamped into the bottom of the lamp base. I would add a fewf self-adhesive rubber/silicon pads will give the lamp some grip and prevent it from scratching surfaces on which it is placed.
