It's beautiful to see the unfolding of these stories in the printed form and the personal meaning brought to life by these apparently individualistic stories.Whether you're a practicing Shaman or just curious about the power of energy work and considering applying this to yourself, you will learn much from reading this book. Importantly, each chapter covers a basic teaching of the Andean shamanistic tradition, as interpreted by Albert Villoldo as taught in the Four Winds. It is highly encouraged to read each chapter and reflect on the message before proceeding to the next chapter. Furthermore, subsequent readings will provide greater insights, as in my case.This is the perfect book for these times of unrest and unease. It is my hope that this important work will spawn a wider recognition that we each possess the power to promote positive changes in the world through our own inner transformation. Another strong book of encouragement and instruction by Sheldon Shalley. His writings always point toward greater self-awareness and expansive thinking.

A deeply moving book that makes shamanism feel totally accessible. The author's blend of clinical and spiritual insight is rare and refreshing.The author weaves powerful stories with real healing practices that feel both ancient and modern. The way he explains energy medicine and soul retrieval is easy to follow and inspiring. Some parts were a bit detailed for me, but the personal stories really hit home.This is a good guide for anyone ready to heal in a new way or just explore spiritual tools that actually work.

This is a very enlightening and well-researched guide to shamanic practices and all it entails. I learned all about shamanism and energy healing using ancient rituals to connect with nature and the spirit world. I found the topic on spirit guides to be comforting and encouraging, as well as the concept of power animals. I like how the author also emphasizes the importance of self-love and feeling a sense of wholeness and harmony in your life. The sections on releasing trauma from your past is very healing and gave me a new sense of freedom and independence, while also connecting more with the spirit world. Everything in this book is clear and straightforward and didn't overwhelm me with any complicated terminology. Recommended.
