This product has really helped me capture some very different things. I now have two of these and have added a magnetic base to them. I will set them on the metal of a Auto, some part of a Motorcycle or SeaDoo to capture continuous images/videos without worrying about battery running out. Also I have place metal plates around our home where I can set these up and shoot night images/videos (star trails along with a few Orionid Meteors as shown in the image. Depending on temperature and settings for capture, these can last anywhere from 4 to 9-10 hours. GREAT PRODUCT!

I bought this to deploy a gopro underwater and record video at a pre-set time with the hero11's scheduled capture feature. The good news is, it survived in 0-6' of seawater with 6' breaking waves, which I consider a pretty good stress test. The bad news is, the battery pack is meant to be turned on with a button after the gopro is turned on -- it won't start automatically when using scheduled capture (which powers on the camera at a pre-set time). My bad, this is more or less clear from the description. I'd recommend this battery pack for when you're not using scheduled capture, it seems to work great for that. Maybe next version will implement an auto-startup feature which would be awesome.

Fantastic power supply, performs exactly as promised. I've tested this out with the Hero 10, Hero 11, Hero 12 and Hero 13 all with no issues. Using static settings (5.3K, Hypersmooth off, rear screen 10% and power off after 1 minute, standard bit rate) I was able to power my Hero 13 for 7hrs 19 minutes in 68 degree temps.I also did a livestream from my Hero 13 in the snow and ice (see attached pics) and got about 6hrs 14mins out of this battery pack. The camera had a bit of ice build up on it but this proved to be no issue for the power supply and everything remained operational.The only thing to note is that while you can leave the battery in the camera, you will need to make sure you turn on the battery pack so passthru power is used. Like most battery packs, if the camera is turned off, the battery pack will also turn off. So this isn't suitable for turning off and on your camera in hard to reach places (as you would need to physically press a button to turn on the battery pack).However for those wanting to film for long periods of time, this battery pack is ideal.

I got this to video longer races I do and it does work for that. It is a bit heavier than I was expecting and the added weight will make it move if you don't tighten it down a LOT. I ride in a hot area North of 100 degrees and have not had any overheat issued with it that I've read other say they had. It charges easly enough and the gopro slides in nicely, just make sure you look how you line it up lol I've put it in crooked before.Not sure how it will effect the water seals as I generally don't expose it to water more than a rain storm.Overall I am glad I made the purchase and have let my gopro record over 4 hours with no issues.This is an update.This worked for about 5 different charges before it got to the point it will no longer charge.I have another one from a different seller that I've had for a year with countless hours or recording and no issues yet. Works as described, power will last just about all day.Good; last a LONG time with out having to recharge, even at 4k 60fps last over 5 hours (9hrs is estimated using 2.7k 30fps) but this works good for me I use this dirt biking. You do have to remove the battery door (so it can connect using the USB C port) but there is a seal on this so your GoPro is still water proof (I am using this on a GoPro 11 Black).Bad; it makes the GoPro much heavier, I usually use this on the front/chin guard on my helmet using a clip, but this makes it uncomfortably heavy (recommend you know where/how you want to use this before buying) and if you decide to remove this extra battery pack for what ever reason, be sure you don't forget the battery door! or else you battery will be falling out or you won't be able to use this! (i did this the first time)End; overall this is exactly what it says, extra battery life so you don't have to change the battery out so often, but is best used for chest mount or handle bar mount, not recommended for selfie stick or head/helmet mount due to the extra weight. But all in all good buy.
