This DJI Power Bank is hands-down the best purchase I've made for my camper van setup. It delivers truly Long-lasting power, completely taking the worry out of draining my main leisure batteries. I was skeptical, but itnandles my high-draw applianceswith ease. For instance,I can run my coffee machine, and it barely dents the battery, using only around 2 percent of its capacity. Even better, i can run my air fryer without hesitation! If you live the van life orr need serious portable power, i can't ecommend this power bank enough-it's been an absolute game-changer and the best buy of the year.. DJI is a very reputable company and the customer service is great, I own a dji drone.. The only downside is that it doesn't come with a car charger and I'm finding it difficult to find one. Apart from that it's a great addition.

the review is for the 1.8kw car charger paired with dji's power stations. on their own these power stations are assumed to be for drone enthusiasts. however I would like to shed some light on the excellent value for money these power stations offer in the form of the dc in and out ports they have and the ability to connect to auxiliary dji equipment like the car alternator charger they make . had it not been for such smart auxiliary equipment I wouldn't have recommended this power station as all other similar power staions are also the same . normally just buy the brand you like . however I am now selling my old c1000x to swap for this unit. though it only has 2 240v ports unlike the anker which had 6 or 8 ports. however this is far superior due to the attention to detail this companies engineers had put in to designing this unit and the other equipment that connects to this unit to make an effective eco system. moreover dji is a far better established company and their main focus is on quality rather then quantity. you might never see the quality difference inside the unit unless you have ant man suit.this 1.8 kw car charger device helps charge dji power station at 600w through car alternator and 800w through the mc4 solar ports .this charge can be delivered to the dji power stations and can also be automatically sent to starter battery to recharge it if it ever runs low. so this is a plug and play design. if you own an rv or boat or have a car that doesn't run much and you connect it via solar then you might never need to worry about the starter battery or worry about running out of 240v electricity .this is going to be a lifesaver in real emergencies like after a storm and you lost 240v power. simply run your car on ideal and recharge your power station back up to 100% within the hour.why did i give it 5*. well due to the simple fact that this device has excelled the dji power 1000 and 2000 power stations to the premium category.scenario 1. you have a dash cam and a tracker in your car. and you hardly ever drive or even if you do you go for a 2 mile trip max. how is your car battery supposed to recharge. on top of all that your headlights are switched on always due to the gloomy weather..scenario 2. you are travelling with your family and someone is special needs or on a 240 v machine which you have arranged a portable power station. suddenly on the highway traffic is held up and now you are scrambling to look for ways to recharge depleting power station.scenario 3 you are out camping in a van and don’t want to run a petrol generator. the sky’s are cloudy so solar isn’t going to work or even if it does its not enoughscenario 4 you run a business out of your car where you need 1000w or more of constant electricity. doesn’t matter ac or dc . you just need 1000w of electricity. be a bit imaginative yourself . i am trying to help you out.scenario 5 you have a work van and need to recharge your PowerStation fast before you reach your next jobscenario 6 you work as road maintenance or some other important job and need constant power which is not easy to get on the road without lugging lots of equipment.this unit is your only saviour. it takes excess current from you alternator and 12v car battery and ups the voltage to recharge dji's power 1000 or 2000 power station.now you will think this is what Eco flow and bluetti and etaker also do. well here is where you are wrong. this does more that what all those do and it has the ability to send electricity back to your 12v starter battery automatically if it drops below a set voltage. hence helping your car battery remain 100% at all times.on a recent visit to my car dealership i requested the cars charging cut in voltage be increased to 12.8v so my car battery can remain 100%. i told them i know this change might reduce the lifespan of my cars battery however the alternative is also the same as i now have to replace £200 battery every 3 yrs due to a constantly discharged battery. guess what the dealership told me. they said i should not have a dash cam and a tracker fitted to my car. that will solve a lot of my problems. moreover the head office has never trained the technicians to do such stuff via the car diagnostic equipment. so not possible.now the nice part. this setup can be a life saver in a real emergency situation like storms or other scenarios where you can keep power station charged by simple running your car on ideal for 1hr and you will have a fully recharged PowerStation.now some people exaggerate that these type of devices destroy the alternator. well in 10 to 15 years this will eventually happen. e.g in 10 to 15 years the alternators own bearings will also give way either way.moreover this device uses the car battery as a buffer or cache for that 1000w . usually all cars alternators produce 500 to 800 w of electricity. some of it is used to recharge the starter battery after cranking the engine and the rest is wasted . this device uses that wasted power to good use. the dji device is very smart so it will not put excess load on the car battery or alternator and balance everything internally. no user input needed. if the car is not producing enough excess power this unit will not suck any extra power as well.then comes the really nice part. it can take input form solar as well at the same time it is taking input from car alternator/battery. and this device and mix and match and finally divert power to whichever battery needs it most. be it the powerbank or the cars own battery. and this is all automatic, so all batteries remain fully charged. you can use the mobile app to stop the power bank recharging the car battery. this is useful if you parked your car at the airport and went off for 2 weeks. upon returning you can then use your mobile app to send power from dji power station to the car starter battery to help boost it up. or if you have solar panels fitted then you can leave the whole setup switched on and let this device decide where to send that excess solar energy.a truly remarkable device and the build quality is top notch. has a fan unlike ecoflow which has heat issues.then comes the price. £300 for this device and £500 for the power station and £100 fittings at Halfords or local car electrician. no mods needed so you remain legal on the road. I am not sure if you remain legal however nothing says this isn’t allowed

First time using DJI brand and a portable power station of this size. Wanted to help with days out and work on the allotment, which doesn’t have access to power.Unit is very solid a seems well made. It came with 50% charge, which meant I could trial. Plugged in Sage coffee machine and it handled that, no problem.I charged the battery around 50% in about 30 minutes. Handles either side make it easy to carry round, it’s not very big. There is a carry case as well, which I haven’t got. But I do think it might be something I look to get.
