I've been using these for months with my iPhone 13, and they don't disappoint. In a 24-hour flight I kept them in most of the time and the noise cancelling was good enough. I discovered that listening to long podcast conversations in the plane, sometimes paired with casual gaming, is better than movies or trying to read books. They pair quickly and I've no zero issues with R/L sync or whatever. The only thing I don't like is the voice signal: it talks too slowly, and cycles through ANC Mode, ANC Off, and Transparency Mode. So when you press, and it starts to say ANC, you don't know if it's going to say ANC Mode or ANC Off. That's just slightly frustrating UX, no big deal. Also when it pairs, it says Power on and then Connected for each side, separately, which feels cheap and unsettling. It would be smoother and more seamless if it just waited and said Connected in both ears at the same time. Again, no big deal. Sound is good, amapiano and electro sure brings out the bass! Podcasts and Audible are super clear and loud even at half volume and using stuff like vacuum cleaners and long-hall quad jet engines. I go running with these, and they don't fall out (I returned the Beats Fit Pro which kept falling out). When running, I turn off ANC, otherwise the wind is audible. The transparency mode works well but doesn't sound transparent like more expensive products; it sounds like a tinny amplification of surroundings, which remains functional, but not something I'd leave on for any length of time. Phone calls work great and people say they hear me fine, and I often ask because I know cheap earbuds tend to lack in this regard. The controls work great too, volume and play and so on, but a hood or hat can set them off sometimes, so I'd probably prefer actual buttons that I could click. You can't sleep on the side with these in, because of comfort and the buttons get triggered somehow (electric pillows?!). The charging is conveniently wireless (I use a merch pad I picked up from a job) and there's USB-C which is faster. I use them all the time and don't even charge the case every day. All in all they are ridiculously good value for fifty bucks (I think they were on special) and even though I'd like AirPods or Beats to get spatial audio and a better overall experience, it's hard to justify the cost when these work so well. Thanks TOZO!

Was looking at active noise cancelling (ANC)earphones in the $100 - $150 range. Good ANC was my main qualifier with the addition of reasonable sound quality. During my search these NC9's popped up as a suggestion. Never heard of TOZO and the price seamed too low to be of decent quality, but I did some research and found reviews to be very positive. Amazon product page included a $20 discount for Prime members, bringing it down to just under $40 dollars, so cheap enough to take a gamble.Well, I'm happy to announce that I'm glad I did. Straight out of the box they have the look and feel of a quality product. The case is small and the LCD display is vivid and easy to read. Pairing to my phone was as easy as turning the phone Bluetooth on and taking the earbuds out of the case. The buds are already in pairing mode, so just accept on phone and done. Same with the tablet. The buds fit in the ear very nicely and no matter how hard I shake my head they don't move or feel like they are going to fall out. I bought these with the intention of listening while going to sleep. I'm a side sleeper and even though the buds have a flat face and sit flush in the ear without excessive protrusion like many other buds, I found I needed a soft pillow to avoid the buds putting pressure on my ear. Having said that, they are still comfy enough that I woke up hours later and they were still in and comfortable. The preinstalled small silicon ear tips are soft and there are a number of different sizes in the box if required. I've found with other earbuds that a larger ear tip helps with increased base if that's your preference. Even expensive earbuds can sound terrible if the ear tips don't fill the ear canal properly. Having said that I kicked off with the preinstalled tips and have to say the sound straight out of the box was very good. Bass, mids and highs all sound very good at a reasonable volume level and sound even better with the multitude of EQ settings using the app. You wont be able to crank the sound to rock concert level and expect the same quality as more expensive buds but with ANC working you won't need to. And that brings me to the reason I started looking for new buds anyway, Active Noise Cancelling. The level of ANC is surprising equal to a set of over ear headphones I have that cost a lot more than these buds. A quick touch of one bud and the ANC is activated to block out the world or de-activated if you want to hear what's going on around you without having to take them out of your ear.Haven't used them for phone calls, and probably never will, so cant comment on the microphone quality. To be fair, I have only had these a few days, so I have no idea if they will last as long as more expensive buds I've had in the past. For the price I don't think there isd anything else on the market that can match the apparent quality or features these buds provide.
