We got model EV480 and wanted to activate the RFID function. The manual indicates there is an RFID symbol on the unit, but there is not! You can see in the manual where the symbol is supposed to be yet the unit we were shipped lacks it. The Amazon photos above accurately show the unit with no RFID symbol. Why in the world does the manual say there is one. This omission cascades into the next issue...since we had no symbol to go by and the manual says you merely 'tap' the card, we were tapping all over it trying to find the reader/hear it beep. It requires more than a 'tap'. You must hold the card up to the unit for up to 2-3 seconds before it reads it. Again, this is not accurately stated in the manual. After a call to support to figure this stuff out we have been good!
