I bought 2 ASRock boards recently. Minor issues with the first one, but this one got me heated. For a board that has wifi in the name, it sure wasn't wifi'n. I had to run my ethernet cable through the house to get the internet working. I removed and installed the drivers so many times and the wifi driver never showed up. After a day long internet search, I found a post in ASRock's user forums about a janky wifi card bracket. Well, I had a janky wifi card bracket. Do you know what a pain it is to pull a motherboard out of an already built system? Of course the USB 3.0 connector didn't want to come out so I had to remove the janky bracket and reinstall the wifi card in the PCI slot and fish the motherboard back into the case. Long story short, there are better 300 dollar motherboards than this one. If you pay this much for a motherboard, their quality control should be way better than this.

It took a month for it to arrive but I am satisfied (mostly because it just works). Good cost under 200 Good VRM phases 3 M2 slots Built in Wifi I don't have to buy separately. This product uses AMD Wi-Fi*** and for those who want AX it's better to buy a cheaper budget board and a separate AX M2 card. For the record, the wifi works good so far for me. Easy driver install White colored motherboard is neat with colored LEDs

For the price, this motherboard is pretty awesome. It's small but packed with features like WiFi 6E, DDR5 support, and even an M.2 slot with a heatsink. My only issue is the fan connectors—there are only three 4-pin ones. That means you can hook up one CPU fan or AIO and only two extra case fans. So, depending on your case, you might have to be strategic about fan placement to get the best airflow. Otherwise, you’ll need a 4-pin fan splitter, which can mess with your cable management. Overall, though, it’s a great motherboard for the price!

Functional at the time of assembly. PC worked great for a little over a week, then one afternoon it just stopped running. It would not boot to the OS or to BIOS. ASRock tech support was less than helpful in troubleshooting the issue. They told me to try different RAM. No extra RAM on hand, so I ordered new RAM from Amazon. As expected, that did not resolve the issue. After repeated requests for support and next steps, the ASRock tech told me to return the motherboard to the seller (Amazon) and request a refund. I have since switched over to the MSI MPG B650I Edge WiFi motherboard which tells me that the issue was not my hardware. It was the ASRock MB all along. So far so good with the MSI MB. The setup and transfer to the new MB has been seamless. The MSI BIOS and MB monitoring tools are far superior to the tools ASRock supplied.

Not a bad price and it works really well. I put a Ryzen 9 7900X and 32 gigs of DDR5 ram, pretty dang fast after it figures out the ram settings. Which most of these boards do the same thing. Very impressive boot times and pretty solid.. no BSOD's! I am happy with my purchase and I do recommend this board. Up until a few years back, I had never heard of Asrock. Now, they are popular and I have used a few of the B550 and B570 boards. None were bad!!

This board was everything I wanted and then some. It is the only B650 board that I am aware of that also has PCIE x16 gen 5 for GPU's. You normally will only find that on B650E boards. If you are going for a white AM5 build, I highly recommend the B650 Steel Legend Wifi.I'm not a huge fan of ASRock Polychrome for controlling RGB, but OpenRGB works flawlessly with it. Also, a good amount of PCIE lanes and NVME slots. Very easy to build with. Looks absolutely incredible as well. Plenty of IO options as well.A great board at a great price!
