Has four wheels, a hiragana wheel, a katakana wheel, and two english A-Z wheels, one with larger letters.For modifiers (ten-ten or maru), you type the letter, then twist the handle to backup a space, then select the modifier.However there is no wheel for "small" hiragana/katakana, so you can't write the small dipthong combinations in the correct small size.Love it, and works perfectly, and this has been impossible for me to find in the US. The vendor shipped promptly, and packed the item well.
