This is great for really cold days and is super comfortable. I bought a large with is my normal size and it fit perfect.

The sizing seems right. I got a small (I'm 5'2" -122lbs) . Don't think I'd be able to heavily layer up underneath it. It's fairly fitted and unlike some of the other longer down jackets - the look is more flattering. I've seen some that poof out around the bum area - this looks more streamlined. Like some of the other reviewers pointed out there are definitely a couple flaws - The hood IS pretty ridiculous looking when up. However - if it's cold enough to need the hood - I'm not gonna really care what it looks like! Also - inner pockets would have been great! Especially as there appears to be one on each side of the zipper - however - they have no bottom seam sewn in to actually be able to use as pockets! Pretty puzzling and definitely unfortunate!!! Other than that I got it with a gift card and literally $20 - so, what I actually spent on it - it's a keeper! I like the color also - it was the Malbec. I haven't worn it out in the cold yet - so not sure how warm it actually is.

The zipper on the first coat was broken. “Broken” in that it wouldn’t connect at the bottom so you could zip it up (even though it was zipped up when it arrived). After 1000 frustrating attempts at holding our mouths just right...we said “this one is defective, let’s get another one.” SAME THING!! So that one went back too. Now, insult to injury, my refund is super slow to come back to my card. One star because there is no zero.

Perfect red that I have been waiting for. Fits as expected. I am 5 ft 7 inches and it sits right below my knee covering my bulges well. Easy to pack. Keeps you warm. Stylish. Dress it up or down. Fits well over 2 layers too. I weigh 157 pounds and wear a 36 C bra.

The reviews for this coat were mixed... I gave it a try, and LOVE this coat!!! It is well made, very light and very warm. I bought it for a winter trip to Europe that we have not yet taken as I wanted a lighter, packable coat that would also be warm enough. This is a wonderful coat! I have worn it 7 or 8 times to walk my dog. Our temps have been in the 20s up to 40s. It is super warm and comfortable! I even wore it one night in cold light rain and stayed dry and cozy. The hood is awesome! Fake fur lined, warm and fits well. I wear a light cotton turtle neck and a light fleece underneath and have at times been almost too warm when walking. It also seems to do a great job of keeping out the wind. I am 5'3" tall and weigh 120 pounds. I bought the medium and have room to wear a heavier top if needed. It is not a loose fitting coat and I thought about going up to a large, but, would probably swim in that. In my opinion, Columbia coats run small. I have a couple of Lands End coats and jackets and find their smalls to be roomy on me. I am VERY happy with this purchase!!!
