I bought a size 7 for my tall 7/12 year old. It fits him well over a t shirt but is tight over a hoodie. It’s not the warmest although the puff does keep good shape (it’s not under filled). He runs hot so it works well for the school commute. I’d say the warmth is good for 30 degrees F to 55. It doesn’t appear waterproof/resistant. The inside lining strikes me as cheap. I keep waiting for the liner to rip although it’s lasted three months of 7yr old rough play so far. My 7yr old picked this jacket out, the cool kids apparently are all wearing UA these days.

I love this coat, it’s so warm yet not bulky.  

A perfect winter coat! It's super warm and true to size. Bought for my 2.5 year old and it is light weight and his favorite one to wear. The good stays on nicely and it's just adorable. Waterproof, a great value, and so comfy!

This jacket is lightweight & not bulky. It keeps my son warm, but I wouldn't suggest it for people living in areas with extremely cold winters. Its a little thin but I think the price is fare. I like that the pockets button & my absolute favorite part is the hood...there is no tie, button etc and it still stays up without having to look at the floor! It even fits snugly around your head & that immensely helps in keeping warm. If your child has sensory issues, this jacket is a winner! Also to keep in mind, I think it runs a little small compared to how sizes run on other brands.
