For the price, this machine has been great. I used it daily for about a year, then it went into storage because I purchased a bigger machine. That machine recently stopped working, so I got this one back out and it is going strong once again. The 1 thing I do not like is the 4 screws on the corners and the 2 on the face plate. They are just annoying to take on and off. The machines with door style front are much more convenient.

Works good. Takes some time to clean but overall easy to use.

I bought this two additional machine expected the same quality product as the firts that I bougth, but wasn’t the same, the power wasn’t the same and also the production wasn’t equal to the firts one. In fact the machine arrive with a copper tube broken inside. I have to buy more machines like that, but for sure I am not going to use the same provider.

This machine is easy to use and clean. Doesn't take long to make and it comes out nice and creamy.

Not sure of other people's experiences. But I got the 1st ups dropped the thing probably from 3 stories up.. ups is a terrible company.. I can't stand them they break everything I get from them.. not the companies fault.. okay now for the company/ product!! 2nd machine.. I get it and the crate is fine. I plug it in and follow direction, makes one batch and not as much as it claims and not as fast but it was okay. I was excited.. 2nd batch machine seized up and wouldn't work again.. ev3n followed recommendations on Amazon to wait 30 minutes to use, actually waited till the next night. Motor still seized called and sent it back.. which was a pain.. but got it done!! Not sure if I just got a bum one but won't take another chance on this company I don't think.. if the company wants to change my mind and send me one to test mayne they can change my mind lol

Made ice cream and it is surprisingly quiet and made the first batch in 20 min and the next few baches in 15 minutes. Only wish is that the batches were larger. But can't complain with such a great price. And it makes a really smooth ice cream in a quick time.

I bought this to make a bit of ice cream for a few restaurants and I am on the fence about how I like it. The chute to add ingredients is pretty narrow where it enters the hopper, any powdered ingredients (like sugar, cocoa, or anything else that might clump) gets stuck as you add them. The controls are very basic: too basic. AND REALLY WAY TOO EASY TO ACCIDENTALLY HIT. I TURNED IT ON WHILE BREAKING IT APART TO CLEAN IT (now I unplug it before cleaning it.)The output on the machine is very odd to operate: you have to unscrew two little knobs to open it, and once you do, you can't close it back up without making a huge mess. THIS MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO CHECK YOUR ICE CREAM MID BATCH, SO BE CERTAIN IT IS FROZEN ENOUGH BEFORE YOU OPEN IT. Since the machine works this way, you also need to be certain that your ice cream isn't too frozen or you will never be able to get it out of the machine (it just sticks to the blades)When it is time to rinse the machine between batches, you can't do that without shooting oily water out of the machine. Even if you rinse it with warm water and manage to get all the ice cream frozen to the blades off, the moment you open the output, it sprays dirty water everywhere. It doesn't come out nicely like a single stream because the blades inside cause it to drain funny, even if the machine is powered off and the blades are not moving.Batch times are extremely inconsistent, it all depends on how cold you machine already is. I made my first batch in 14 minutes, and the same flavor again in only 8. Rinsed the machine and made a different flavor in about 12, then the same flavor in about 10. I learned to watch the top of the ingredients chute to cue me when it is done. It gets the job done, and after about half a dozen batches you will be able to tell when it is ready.Overall, I give it three stars, but I would not recommend it. When it breaks, I will not be buying the same model again. But now I know what I DON'T like in a batch freezer, so I know what to avoid.

I got this machine in June/July and have been fighting to get my money back ever since. I was so excited to find a churn that seemed affordable and had plans to try it out and if it worked- I’d buy a few of them. Instead, I got a machine that spins and slightly cools the cream but doesn’t even get it close to frozen. It basically makes cold whipped cream.I attempted to do a return and they said I could but would have to pay for it- which meant I’d be out $150-250 to mail it back. In an effort to make the process faster, I hired a repair man to fix it. He found that there were parts inside that were broken and fixed them. He also added more coolant. Even after that, it didn’t freeze and he said it’s likely that the machine isn’t powerful enough and wasn’t even designed to freeze. I don’t know but decided to attempt returning it without needing to pay shipping so that I could at least recover some money. I submitted a claim and never heard back.Eventually, it took so long and they still insisted I pay for shipping on a machine they sent broke - that I had to file an A-Z claim. The company rejected it and I’m now trying to appeal with amazon. Honestly, I regret thinking I could have gotten a churn so cheaply. I don’t like leaving bad reviews and it takes a lot for me to do so. I’m fed up and hoping this review triggers them to act. They really missed out because if these do in fact work, I would have bought a lot of them
