These pads squeak on every stop. Add me to the long list of non believers of the reviews about noise. We have taken the tires off, the brake hardware retainers off and cleaned the rotors and the clip and the pads several times now, after 3 days squeaks come back. Each time I can see a large build up of brake "material", not dust that gets built up under the pad and seems that it can't escape, that's what is causing the noise. Its not the rotors on the car or the hardware clips, its a Kia Optima 2013 and went thru its first front brake change, I put the old ones back on to see what the issue is and they did not squeak after being on for over a week, not once.I'm getting new pads from a vendor I should have chosen.I have used Wagner on three different other cars we own, find them to be good stopping power and quiet, but these are a nightmare .They did something wrong with these and I will be writing them for a refund. There are way to many people reporting the same problem on same model product, it is not the people. Wagner should recall & remove this product. I will no longer be buying Wagner pads for our 5 vehicles I maintain. as Wagner has demonstrated they will not back up their product.

The brake pads shipped out and arrived on time.Shipped in the OEM box with no protection and the box looked rough. The brake pads are shrink wrapped and had no damage.Purchased for 2013 Sonata.Exact replacement.Easy to install and fit and work as they should. We have purchased several sets of the Wagner quick stop ceramic discs pads for different vehiclesand so far we have not had any problems or noise out of any of them.

I just installed these pads yesterday, so I won't know the longevity for a few years. The only problem I had was the hardware kit did not contain all the parts that came off the OEM brakes. The OEM pads had shims under the piston that the new pad kit did not contain. After trying to make the old shims fit the new pads, I decided that the new pads did not require the shims. The instructions that came with the pads were generic to many different pads and cars, so not much useful information was obtained. I looked on the Wagner website and it did not answer my question either. The shims did not really fit the new pads due to a slightly different design, and the pad kit include new replacements for the other hardware, so I decided to go without the shims. To this point the brakes are quiet and work well.

Cheap but well made. Works as well as genuine Hyundai parts on my 2013 Sonata and I’ve installed several sets myself after years of getting pads and rotors serviced at the dealership.UPDATE: Just installed another set. The trickiest part is the abutment clips. Before installing them, scrape the built-up rust and brake dust from the outer edge of the rotor with the side of a flat-blade screwdriver. The most likely cause of scraping noises after installation is that the new abutment clips are scraping this build-up.When installing the abutment clips, pay attention to the tab that fits between the rotors and pad carrier frame. You may need to wiggle the clip a while before you find exactly the way to fit it, then you can press down the rest of the clip into the pad carrier bracket. Find a viewing angle that allows you to see a gap between the edge of the rotor and the clip. If the gap is very narrow on one side, you may have to disassemble the pads and clips so you can bend the tab back a little with pliers.
