A23 12V Alkaline 23-A Replacement Battery 23AE GP - 5 Pack

I like the expiration date - 07/2026 - means these are fresh. I'm using them in 2 remotes one is a mailbox chime and the other turns on/off an outdoor outlet. No issues with distance the gate is about 90' from the home even through windows and heavy curtains, the other remote is for the outlet but I'm using it indoors right now, it's behind a bed. As for longevity only time will tell but I think these will go the distance.

These are a Great Value (and not talking about the Large Mart house brand). Seen these at those specialty battery shops for 3x-4x Amazon's price. Our remote control ceiling fans (six in total) remotes use these batteries. The fans are used daily (sometimes just the light) and the batteries seem to last nearly a year. I usually pick-up another pack whenever I get a free week or month of Prime or need to hit the $35 'free shipping' quota. 5-pack is perfect as one room we don't really use the fan much so that remote's buttery lasts much longer than the other five.
