I would’ve loved to print the pieces that go with this, but the printer struggles to make big prints and since you only need this kit for the 5M printer, it felt silly that the prints kept failing. Out of the return window or I would’ve returned this.

I just received the printer about 2 days ago. After following the setup instructions and after powering up the unit. I received an error message "No detected MCU." I could not find anything about the error on the internet. I decided to open up the back panel of the unit and found a loose connector. No big deal. Once properly installed, everything works as advertised. My only small gripe is that I wished it came with a whole spool of filament because I ran out rather quickly with the small supply it came with. Other than that, it works like a dream. Endless possibilities. Happy printing!

Line in description - “Pls Note: During DIY Adventurer 5M Enclosure process, it includes the parts that require users to print themselves”. Indicating that all parts are included. If I could give zero stars I would. The listing clearly states that all materials come with purchase. It is not clear, however that you are supposed to print the entire housing for the item. The instructions are unclear on how to get the custom printed items. It says go to the website for the manufacture and then the manufacturer has a website that goes to a Wikipedia page that has four different models that you can print from. The reason I bought this enclosure is because I was having trouble printing onto the plate. Imagine my frustration when I’m attempting to print these items and they’re not sticking to the plate which is the entire reason why I bought the enclosure. I would just go to Home Depot and buy all the pieces instead of spending the money to get this.

This isn't a complete kit it doesn't say it is so be prepared! there a several parts of this kit that need to be printed on your 3d printer before you use these parts to finish the job. Other then the parts that need to printed this kit provides all the MISC. parts needed to finish the job. The end results are great. Just have your expectations set to the correct level. If the kit provided all the parts it would cost so much it would be cheaper to buy the PRO version of the printer.

Fits the AD5M perfectly. I had all the pieces printed before receiving this kit and everything went together flawlessly. Much cheaper than purchasing the Pro, and I will probably never need the heated chamber anyways. However, this does help cut down on the noise of the printer, I have mine sitting behind a wall approximately 10’ from my bed and can hardly hear it over a TV at normal volume.
