The first-person proximity to the totally evolved christ is so overwhemingly powerful it is difficult to read without breaking down. Jesus actually comes through the pages. A very moving look at both Mary his mother, the Romans overseeing the crucifixion, the bystanding Jewish leaders and the criminals who die with Jesus. This first-person experience is extraordinary.

For those who find biblical accounts of the Life and death of Jesus Christ somewhat lacking and dated, this spellbinding chronicle centering around The Crucifixion and Resurrection of Our Lord and Saviour captures the Glory of God's suffering at the hands of the human beings He forgave to the very end. One cannot read this book and not come away with a deeper, fuller understanding of the Sheer Magnificence of Almighty God, in all His Glory, both as God and as The Son of God in the form of a human being on Earth. No man could ever endure the suffering, torture and humiliation which Jesus Christ endured, all for the sake of Creating a path by which those who will come to accept Him as the One Living God can be granted eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven. This book will help showcase, like a holographic film, the Life, death and Resurrection of the Greatest Man who ever lived, Jesus Christ The Son of God, who together with Our Father, Lives and Reigns Forever over All Creation, over All Universes. Amen.

I wasn't originally drawn to this book but read it for completeness as I am very interested in the Sacred Wisdom Revived Books 1 and 3.The forward was really well written, intriguing and informative. Interestingly, I also found the afterward and glossary to be equally fascinating. However, I didn't find the main text as compelling. This may need to be something that I revisit at a later date.Although this book is an interesting read at points, I didn't find it nearly as compelling as the first book of the series, Land of the Gods.

The work of Joseph Campbell taught us that great truth is found hidden away in Fairy Tales and Myth. And the latest fruit from Radiant books, The Mystery of Christ, will leave you spellbound, as if you are reading a Sherlock Holmes mystery or a newly discovered tome by Hans Christian Anderson. The difference is that this is the esoteric, true story of events before, during and after the Crucifixion of Christ, as narrated by the great Sage, Thales of Argos, who witnessed all he describes. And numerous spiritual mysteries are revealed to the watchful eye of the careful reader. For example, a major past life for the Disciple John and a mind-blowing past life for Mother Mary! And the mystery of exactly who is Sophia at present, is all but spelled out, at least to my mind. I love learning about past lives for the great ones.I love this book! Could not put it down, except for a cup of tea and, later, a sandwich. It is so very inspiring! And, sadly, the same ignorance, pride & anger that led to the Crucifixion of Christ is still with us today. But, at a personal level, “The Mystery of Christ” makes me want to redouble my efforts to learn how to Love as Christ Loves.

I will reread this book again and again. I am in hopes of finding more truth from its page's. It is very hard to pull it down.
