Honestly I really wanted this to work out because I do like the format. But this thing has been a pain in the *** and made me regret not going for something more trustworthy like a Focusrite interface. It's too flimsy, has given me too many problems in live situations, constantly disconnecting, being very picky about which USB-C cable it decides to work with. At another gig we couldn't even get some sound out of really basic inputs and had to switch sound card entirely. Trust me, skip this one. I will be selling mine.

EVO4 failed to operate after using for a few times. Contacted manufactorer and confirmed to be device issue.Unfortunately Yachew LTD is not an authoized seller for Audient products, hence no warranty and support provided

I switched from the Scarlett 2i2 (first gen). This device does exactly what I need. Good sound quality, can drive my 250 ohms headphones with a high enough sound for my needs.I can activate 48v phantom power to individual inputs and being able to adjust monitoring volume is fantastic. The design of the device is beautiful and I like the volume LED, not too bright and useful.I haven't tried instrument input or smart gains. I generally prefer adjusting gain myself. I also haven't tried monitor output speakers.I had some problem using it on ArchLinux, there was no way to turn off the loopback. I'm using When I plugged it in my apple device I was able to update the firmware and turn off the loopback. Now I'm using it on linux with pipewire and jack. Without that little issue, it worked out of the box
