Easy to hook-up with the HDMI cord. The Sub-Woofer recognized the sound bar instantly. My Samsung TV also recognized there was another choice added to the list of speakers available. The overall sound is much better than the speakers on my TV, so I was happy with the difference, but don't think this is going to sound like a theater system. So, for the money a good choice, if you're looking for great TV speakers.My only complaint is the remote. The remote that comes with this model has no display, which makes adjusting the sound challenging and somewhat time consuming if you bar isn't in plain sight. (there is another model that has a remote with a visual display).

This is a great little set up for anyone that wants great sound quality without having to rely on high volume! I have a 10 year old 65" Vizio flat screen and it doesn't have a HDMI audio out, but this sound bar is set up for both HDMI and Optical (that's that single cable with the red led light on the tip) connections. The bluetooth connectivity between the soundbar and subwoofer are great. It makes it easy to set up in any configuration of living room or game room without having speaker wires criss crossing your floor. The remote has an LED readout on it that tells you in plain, well lit English what settings you're on. Very user friendly for those of us over 45 years old that need glasses to read! The subwoofer offers a great deal of bass and low end sound without any annoying vibrations or crackling sounds. Excellent quality for anyone who wants great sound without having to have it cranked all the way up.
