Was using the grocery store filters (Melita). The Hario 60 is shaped differently and these filters work much better and allow a smoother pour process. Yes, twice as expensive… $.03 to $.06 but hey we are talking pennies. Glad I switched.

If you're looking for just a coffee filter for your Hario v60 and you don't care then you can't go wrong with these.I've been ordering this product for about 2-3 years now and the most recent time I ordered them, they seemed a little different. A little stiffer, and a little thicker. Not sure if Hario changed this product slightly or if this is a fake.

Works quite well in filtering coffee grinds from your cup. I use this to brew my morning pour over and while it isn't as tasty as a metal filter, it also provides a bean free cup of coffee. Fits well in the hario holders as well as chemex (and similar) coffee pots.

Best quality paper filters, especially if you have the brand name HARIO.PRE-WASH FILTER! Both bleached and unbleached still come from dirty paper factories. Do a hot pre-rinse on ANY paper filter from any brand. You can taste the water that passes through, and taste a subtle hint of carboard. Thanks for reading people, ENJOY YOUR COFFEE!
